Armadillo struggled to understand why an expedition Fridge/Freezer should be so expensive, we understood that a portable unit should be more robust than your standard domestic fridge sitting inert under your kitchen work top but why does that raise the cost by a factor of 10 for every cm3.
So we looked into the problem, after all there’s no point having the truck, the roof tent, the awning and the willingness if your beers going to be hot!
Well after considerable hunting we found a range of fridges that we think perform just as well as the leading brands presently available within the UK market.
These units range from a mere 21ltr right up to 118ltr, they run off 12v or 240v and are supplied with a free insulated jacket, an item which comes at extra cost with other fridges, interestingly they also seem to have a smaller foot print, so 90 drivers stay tuned as space for you comes at a premium.
Our larger units have twin compartments providing a true Fridge/Freezer facility.
They are stylish and reasonably priced and we are presently discussing with our manufacturer about increasing the flexibility of each unit to allow the user to mount them in a variety of ways without the need for expensive mounting racks or retractable mechanisms, all of which are overpriced and in many cases unnecessary.
We now do a range of fridges from 21ltrs to 118ltrs!
